Friends of the Cultural Precinct - officially launched!

The Friends of the Busselton Cultural Precinct hosted their long-awaited launch event on Sunday 23rd July, at 4.30pm in the Courtroom of the Cultural complex.

The Friends have formed to support the activities in the Cultural precinct. Their goal is to be the heart and soul of the precinct, advocating and promoting its activity and initiatives as well as fundraising and volunteering. They hope to contribute to the success of the new venue, Saltwater Busselton and build relationships with existing user groups to bring activity to the precinct. All individuals and businesses are welcome to join the Friends.

The FoBCP committee worked very hard to prepare for this event and it was a roaring success, with great food, drinks and music enjoyed by everyone who attended. The Mayor Grant Henley gave a wonderful speech about the integral role the Friends will play in supporting the precinct.
