Kerry Munns is a self taught intuitive abstract expressionist with a passion to teach. She was brought up in the wheat-belt of Western Australia living most of her life in and around Koorda and Beacon areas.
Kerry and her family made the tree change to the Gingin area 8.5 yrs ago where she has worked as an art support worker for a few years in Lancelin. This re-ignited her desire of painting and so for the past 6 years Kerry has been working as a full-time artist from her home studio. Kerry has developed her own style as an intuitive abstract expressionist working with her favourite mediums, acrylics, acrylics impasto, oil pastels, chalk pastels and water colours of which she mostly enjoys painting flowers and landscapes. Kerry loves to paint in a vibrant colour pallet and creates her paintings with texture that exude happiness and hopes to fill the world with the colour it craves.
