Seafarer’s Canvas

The Old Courthouse Complex is proud to present The Seafarer’s Canvas, a powerful new mixed art exhibition displaying maritime inspired works by 19 local artists in the Bond Store Gallery from 26 September to 22 October 2024.

Busselton Cultural Precinct Curator, Sharon Williams said The Seafarer’s Canvas captures the indomitable spirit of those who embark on maritime adventures through an array of artistic interpretations, including paintings, printmaking, textile art and ceramics.

“Art enthusiasts are invited to delve into captivating oceanic works on display, from tranquil coastal vistas to dramatic forces of the sea,” Ms Williams said.

“Each piece reflects a unique aspect of the maritime experience, capturing the beauty, mystery, and peril of seafaring life.”
