In this workshop, we will explore the ways we can free our creative selves from photographic references and choose to paint what is in our minds...a seascape that is totally us. We will use the principles of basic design to create a unique and honest seascape in acrylics using a limited palette. This is an exercise to put you firmly outside your comfort zone, challenging beginners and the more experienced to let go and paint, generally ending with a semi abstracted representational piece of art work in harmonious colour.
We want to stay true to the loose, non photographic style and not get bogged down in detail.
